Well elucidated but I wonder if anyone has the welfare of those officers recruited as Inspectors of CX in mind.

ReplyDeleteThis deptmnt is following British policy .. where Indians were never allowed to rise above certain rank.. similarly.. those ppl recurtited other than upsc.. should not rise above certain rank .. and stagnate there only..

The DOPT and the Finance Ministry should be categorically informed that post-GST, the gubernatorial posts of Commissioners, Principal Commissioners, Chief Commissioners and useless directorates created just to park these redundant Commissioners should abolished.Posts in the grade of Assistant/Deputy Commissioners must be created as a functional necessity, as most of the functions under GST are saddled on these officers.By this the Ministry can be shown substantial savings in costs to the Department and thus make an articulate and persuasive argument.
ReplyDeleteNobody is going to listen or respond. Why don't explore the possibility of approaching a High Court directly against the discrimination and asking for a parity in promotion with the Appraisers already promoted?
