Dear members and friends,
At the outset, I would like to thank all the members for having abided by the call of this association and staying away from the GST day celebrations. I'm given to understand that only a handful of awardees were present. This goes a long way in sending across the message of unity of the cadre and also its frustration and anguish at the state of affairs in CBIC. The fact that the news of AIASCT's call of staying away from celebrations got better attraction than the celebration itself points to the right direction of the action of AIASCT. Here I would credit the Units for having given their full support during the campaign.
Please find appended below print media links and paper cuttings of our call.

ReplyDeleteGreat unity shown by the cadre this time.
ReplyDeleteSG is requested to plan the next action to achieve our goals
Will approaching the Hon'ble Minister who has enabled promotion of about 8000 Central secretariat cadre officers, help us?
ReplyDeleteLet's exert pressure on MOS like Central Secretariat Services.
ReplyDeleteYes exactly…now it’s time to directly approach ministers as current chairman also doesn’t seem interested in our cadre matters

ReplyDeleteIt only goes to evince the amount of despondency and frustration that has crept in the stagnated cader. The next phase should be an long drawn agitation . If CCS officers could be promoted after their protests , why can't we be !
DeleteAfter success of this boycott call now it is the best time to put more pressure on CBIC by means of protest/agitation…we request SG to plan next set of action ASAP
ReplyDeleteThis is not good enough. Till we see the implementation of our demands in the cadre restructuring, let's don black badges to further pressurize the Babus
ReplyDeleteAn AIB meeting of the association should be held virtually to decide next action. It’s high time that our cadre officers and association members fight for their rights instead of looking for lucrative postings and pleasing their bosses
ReplyDeleteDo not forget to include inspector cadre in inclusion of headlines.. might need strength when it comes to show strength
ReplyDeleteShouldn't one of the protest methods be non submission of reports called for. It's Superintendents and Inspectors who slog to make the various reports that are called for. Most IRS officers don't even understand how a report is prepared and data obtained for these.
ReplyDeleteYes, lekin ye tabhi effective hai jab 100% officer usme participate karen.
DeleteIn the latest circular issued by CBIC for filling vacancies on mission mode there no mention of Grp B to Grp A promotions .board is not at all concerned about us.If now this association just limits itself to letter writing then god bless all of us. It’s now or never situation for us, respected SG kindly plan accordingly
ReplyDeleteGood step. But I remember in sept 2014 our officers held dharna protest in front of residence of Chairman,. Rev secretary members and it resulted in DPC by December of the same here. Why are we shying away from doing similar things
