NOTE
On the occasion of
the National Strike call given by many Staff Associations across the country, Superintendents of
Central Excise & GST all over India, under the banner of this Association, are
to sit on MASS DHARNA FOR TWO DAYS ON 8TH
AND 9TH OF JANUARY.2019 in front of the Headquarters offices of
the C.Ex & GST seeking to draw the attention of the Government of India to
a 20 point charter of demands.
Some of the main
issues in the Charter of Demands are:
- Restore the defined Pension Scheme since the New Pension Scheme does not guarantee returns and has much lesser pay out.
- Settle pay anomaly and disparity issues.
- Stop outsourcing which puts to grave risks functions of the Government and would affect security & regularize the contingent employees.
- Stop privatization and increase CGHS and medical facilities.
- Grant at least 5 promotion to each employee to keep up their morale and safeguard productivity and service.
- Implement judicial decisions by granting the benefit to all similarly placed persons.
- Stop disparity in promotions between Central Excise and Customs Officers, recruited through the same exam.
- Implement judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in the case of N.R.Parmar at least with effect from 1.3.86.
- Withdraw SLP against the judgment of the Hon’ble Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur Bench to do away with disparity of pay between DRs and Promotees due to ACP/MACP.
- Provide proper infrastructure for GST staff to execute their functions.
